Gwinnett Braves' Win Streak Ends

Minor is the losing pitcher in Louisville.

The Gwinnett Braves' six-game winning streak ended Friday as Louisville got to G-Braves pitcher Mike Minor in a 4-2 loss in Louisville, Ky.

Minor, who has spent some time with the parent Atlanta Braves this season, allowed six hits, three runs and two homers in six innings Friday. 

The G-Braves managed just four hits. Shortstop Brandon Hicks had a home run.

The G-Braves now travel to Durham for two games against the Bulls. The teams are tied for first in the International League South. The G-Braves return to Coolray Field in Lawrenceville on Monday, July 4.
