is the only Suwanee team in the top 10 in the final ranking for the regular season.
The Bulldogs routed crosstown rival on Friday, 28-0, to clinch the Region 7-AAAAA title and top playoff seed. The Lions, also in the playoffs, are not ranked in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution lineup. Grayson, the 8-AAAAA champion, is No. 2 statewide and hosts in the playoffs.
Also, North can make some football history this week. According to the AJC, the Bulldogs are a win away from their sixth consecutive 10-win season. Only five Georgia programs have achieved that in the highest classification. They are Camden County (2001-11), Northside (1998-2003), Parkview (1999-2005), Valdosta (1986-92) and Warner Robins (1979-85).
