Lambert High Student Chosen for All-American Band
Patrick McBrayer will perform among 125 of the nation's top band members at the January 7 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

SUWANEE, GA — Lambert High student Patrick McBrayer has been selected as a member of the 2017 U.S. Army All-Americans marching band.
He will be joining an elite group of band members who will perform during halftime at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
McBrayer plays clarinet.

He also participates in World Guard International, Scholastic World percussion and The Bands Of America marching circuit. He is clarinet section leader for the Lambert band band and is a finalist for the Georgia Governor's Honors Society.
"We are proud to honor this year’s talented group of U.S. Army All-American Marching Band members, and we commend each of them on this accomplishment," said Mark S. Davis, deputy assistant secretary of the Army for marketing. "Like U.S. Army Soldiers, these talented individuals come together from diverse backgrounds as strangers, but through the encouragement of their Army mentors, at the end of the week perform as a cohesive and elite team."

The U.S. Army All-American Marching Band recognizes the top 125 high school senior marching musicians and color guard members from across the country.
The U.S. Army All-American Bowl, which features the nation's elite high school players, will be televised live on NBC on January 7 at 1 p.m.
