Man Texts Suwanee Girlfriend: 'ur dead for real'

A Gwinnett man faces charges after the incident.

A Gwinnett man was charged with terroristic threats and making harassing phone calls after an incident involving a Suwanee woman, police said.

According to Gwinnett Police, David Anthony Pechillo of a McDaniel Street address in Duluth sent several threatening text messages to his girlfriend on June 18 after she said they broke up.

Some of the texts read, "im kill u -----", "im headed ur way", and "ur dead for real", according to the incident report.

The suspect called the woman while officers were speaking to her. According to police, Pechillo said, "Saying crazy --- is the only way to get her attention."
