Mike Minor, in his first start for the Gwinnett Braves since being optioned from Atlanta recently, took a perfect game into the seventh inning Sunday in a 7-5 win over Buffalo at Coolray Field.

Minor, the Braves' No. 1 draft choice in 2009, pitched eight innings and allowed one hit, striking out nine. Buffalo got five runs off Jose Lugo before Jair Asencio earned his sixth save. For his performance, Minor was named International League Pitcher of the Week. He is 3-2 with a 2.23 ERA in 60 2/3 innings for Gwinnett this season.
