Motorcyclist Killed in Suwanee Accident; Charges Pending

One person was killed when a motorcycle and car collided on Satellite Boulevard Tuesday morning in Suwanee.

The city posted on Facebook that Suwanee Police and the Georgia State Patrol worked the fatal crash at the intersection of Satellite and Martin Farm Road. The wreck occurred around 8:45 a.m.

A Georgia State Patrol spokesperson said the motorcycle was moving southbound on Satellite when a Nissan Altima turned in front of it from Martin Farm Road, and caused the collision, the Gwinnett Daily Post reported.

The newspaper said charges are pending against the driver of the car.

The identity of the motorcyclist has not been release, pending notification of the next of kin.
