
Reliever Peter Moylan made his first start since 1997 in a rehab stint from Atlanta to help the Gwinnett Braves beat Charlotte 3-2 at Coolray Field on Monday.
Moylan worked the first inning before Julio Teheran (14-2) took his regular turn in the pitching rotation. Teheran worked five innings, allowing six hits and two runs.
Stefan Gartrell and Brandon Hicks each went 2-for-4 for Gwinnett, which scored all its runs in the first inning.
