Suwanee family's horse was 7 lengths back.

Mucho Macho Man, the third-place finisher in the Kentucky Derby, did not finish in the money in Saturday's Preakness Stakes.

The horse owned by Dean and Patti Reeves of Suwanee finished sixth, seven lengths behind winner Shackleford, a 12-1 betting favorite before the race. Animal Kingdom finished second Saturday, and Astrology third.

The final leg in thoroughbred racing's Triple Crown will be the Belmont Stakes, on June 11 in New York.
