National mortgage company adds Suwanee resident to team

PrivatePlus Mortgage, a division of Private Bank of Buckhead, has named Suwanee resident Susan Retsky a Post Closer. She is new to the mortgage industry and is enthusiastic about bringing a broad range of skill sets to bare.

“Between Susan’s sense of adventure, and her experiences both in the hospitality industry as well as teaching, she brings great perspectives to this important phase of the mortgage process,” says Dan Smith, President of PrivatePlus.

“Now that my children are grown,” Retsky says, “I am thrilled to be back in the professional business environment.” Away from work, she supports Autism Speaks, noting, “I have a son and a nephew that are on the autism spectrum; the rate at which children are being diagnosed with autism is alarming.”

Retsky enjoys reading every genre, and watching her three sons play in various sports, including lacrosse, football, wrestling and baseball. She also loves to travel, noting that her passion is disorganized, unplanned trips “where we get to truly explore where we end up.” She and her husband, a computer engineer in the hotel industry, live in Suwanee and have a Pekingese/shih tzu mix rescue dog named Chuy and a hamster named Ibra.
