Norcross Is the Lone Gwinnett AAAAAA Playoff Survivor
North Gwinnett, Mill Creek and Parkview lose Friday in the quarterfinals.

And then there was one.
Norcross won Friday, but North Gwinnett, Mill Creek and Parkview all went down to defeat in the AAAAAA football playoff quarterfinals.
North lost 21-6 at Lovejoy, Mill Creek lost to North Cobb 42-35, and Parkview lost at home to Colquitt County 31-15.

So Norcross, which defeated Camden County 34-20, will advance to face Colquitt County next Friday in the semifinals, and North Cobb and Lovejoy also will meet. Those winners will advance to the title game in the Georgia Dome the following weekend.
North Gwinnett's offense struggled, as QB Michael Haynes finished with just 75 yards passing. The Bulldogs, who beat Johns Creek and Grayson in the 2012 playoffs, finished the season 11-2.
