North Gwinnett Overwhelms Mill Creek

ran its winning streak to seven games Friday with a comfortable 29-7 win over visiting Mill Creek in Suwanee.

The win improved the Bulldogs to 7-1 overall, 5-0 in Region 7-AAAAA. North remains in a tie for first place in the region with Peachtree Ridge, which defeated Duluth 47-14 Friday.

Mill Creek fell to 4-4, 1-4.

Scott Hosch completed 20 of 29 passes for 230 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Bulldogs. Chad Scott had five receptions for 59 yards and two touchdowns and running back Joe Jones carries 19 times for 119 yards and a touchdown.

Alejandor Arroyave made three field goals.

North visits Duluth next Friday before a season-ending showdown with Peachtree Ridge.
