Peachtree Ridge Seeks First Win

After a week off, Peachtree Ridge will seek to get into the win column this season when the Lions travel to Roswell on Friday night.

The Lions fell to Walton 26-17 in the season opener in the Corky Kell Classic, despite two TD runs from RB Diandre Atwater. Also, it will be the second straight week that a Suwanee team will travel to Roswell; last week Collins Hill came from behind in the second half to beat the Hornets (0-1).

Also, Collins Hill (1-0) travels to Gwinnett rival Brookwood on Friday. This game will be a rematch of sorts from last year's AAAAA playoffs, won by Brookwood. The Broncos are 0-1 after a season-opening loss in the Kell Classic. Collins Hill is ranked No. 10 by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

North Gwinnett (1-1) continues its tough non-region schedule by traveling to Carrollton for a Saturday game vs. St. Augustine, Fl. The Bulldogs are ranked No. 9 by Georgia Public Broadcasting.
