Francis runs track at the high school and spent countless hours over the summer completing the trail. The trail runs through a mature hardwood forest, around a springhead, and over a creek.
Perhaps the biggest challenge was constructing the bridge over the creek. The trail is a little less than half-mile long and joins with the existing running pattern used by the middle school running club.

In addition to use by the North Gwinnett Middle running club, this trail will serve as an outdoor classroom for use by all students.
