Second Chance Pays Off for Double Lottery Winner

Sugar Hill woman won $10K and a new car in two Georgia Lottery promotions.

A Gwinnett County woman was a lucky lady twice in the Georgia Lottery.

Jane Blakeney-Kender of Sugar Hill won a new car and a load of cash in two lottery promotions.

She won a 2014 Kia Soul from being selected in the 21 Black Series Second Chance promotion, and also $10,000 in the Maximum Green Monthly Extra Chance drawing.

The woman and her husband enter non-winning tickets online to be selected for the prizes.

“Pinch me! To have everything happen within a few weeks of each other, it’s unbelievable,” Blakeney-Kender said in a Georgia Lottery press release. “We’re excited.”

She was presented her new car Tuesday ay Kia Mall of Georgia in Buford.

“This is our replacement car,” she said. “We’re going to use the money for some upgrades to our house.”
