Siemens Donates Electric Van to Lambert High School

The van will allow engineering and robotics students at the Suwanee school to travel to competitions with their projects in tow.

A Suwanee high school can now use an ell-electric vehicle to take students to events and competitions thanks to a generous donation by a local company.

Siemens, who has offices in Alpharetta, donated the electric van to Lambert High School so that engineering, robotics, and science students could travel to competitions and conferences with their large equipment in an environmentally-friendly manner.

“Lambert High School is thrilled to be in partnership with Siemens Corporation through their donation,” said Lambert principal Dr. Gary Davison in a statement. “We gladly accept their generosity of an electric powered van for our programs to use. Our engineering, robotics, and science departments will truly benefit from their gift. We thank Siemens for their commitment to education, kids, and the community.
