'Snap Suwanee' Pictures Coming to City Hall
The 13 winners from the annual photo contest will be on display March 1.
The competition is over, and the 13 winners of the city's annual Snap Suwanee photo contest will soon be on display at City Hall. Winners represent a variety of locales around the city, according to a news release.
"It's always fun to see what places and events draw photographers' focus each year," says Public Information Officer Lynne Bohlman DeWilde in a news release. "This year, we received a lot of Snowmageddon photos [from January 2011] as well as several photographs from the 9-11 ceremony and unveiling of the World Trade Center artifact."
The city received 129 entries from 43 photographers. The photos will be on exhibit along the lower-level back foyer at City Hall. Two winners are attached to this article.
