Students at Carrington Academy in Suwanee Kiss a Pig on Valentine’s Day to Raise Money for Earth Day Initiatives

In culmination of a school-wide fundraiser, students and school administrators were rewarded with the opportunity to kiss a real pig

In celebration of a school-wide fundraiser and Valentine’s Day, students and administrators at Carrington Academy in Suwanee had the opportunity to kiss a real pig at their school on Feb. 14. Since the end of January, school administrators and each classroom of students worked to collect funds for an outdoor learning classroom they plan to create on their campus in time for Earth Day. The classroom and administrator that collected the most money had the chance to kiss the pig, which was provided by a local farm.
