Suwanee Borders Store To Close

The Borders bookstore location in Suwanee, on near Johns Creek, is among the locations set to close as the retailing company files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. This location is in Forsyth County.

Another casualty of technology advances, big-box bookstores have been hit hard as more people shop online and use e-readers, such as Amazon's Kindle.

The company announced Wednesday that it was taking the Chapter 11 step. Also on the hit list is the company's Mall of Georgia location in Buford.
