Suwanee School Count Continues

The Gwinnett County school system has conducted another enrollment count for the new school year, and two of three Suwanee high schools are slightly above projections.

Data released Monday by GCPS show:

-- Peachtree Ridge has 3,214 students, 12 more than projections.

-- Collins Hill has 3,207 students, 50 below projections.

-- North Gwinnett has 2,556 students, 25 above projections.

Overall, GCPS enrollment is at 162,184 students, according to a media release. This indicates growth of 5,225 students since the district's first count on Aug. 9. The school system's "day-after-Labor Day" forecast is 162,459.
