Residents’ responses, which are anonymous, are tabulated by the National Research Center and benchmarked with more than 500 other local jurisdictions around the country. The survey measures citizens’ satisfaction in eight areas: community engagement, education and enrichment, recreation and wellness, economy, built environment, natural environment, safety, and mobility.
Results from the 2012 survey indicated that 99 percent of residents found Suwanee an excellent or good place to live and would recommend living in Suwanee. The City was ranked #1 by its residents, compared to other participating jurisdictions, in four categories: land use, planning, and zoning; preservation of natural areas; city parks; and availability of affordable quality child care.
