Suwanee Holding Video Competition

'Fun, creative' videos sought for YouTube. Top prize is $1,000.

The City of Suwanee is holding its first-ever video competition, and the winner could bring in up to $1,000.

The city that prides itself on an edgy reputation is seeking just that in videos that will be uploaded to the city's YouTube channel.

"What we're really hoping," Public Information Officer Lynne Bohlman DeWilde said in a news release, "is to receive several fun, creative videos ... that are a bit edgy, without being profane or offensive, videos that have the potential to go viral like the Old Spice guy. We figured that we'd turn to our creative community for an insider's take on living in Suwanee."
