Voted the "Best of Gwinnett County" several years in a row, The Orient Garden is a Chinese restaurant that is worth navigating the nearby road construction for.
With so many Chinese restaurants available to choose from, why should you give this one a try? Here are my top three reasons.
1. The upscale atmosphere. The Orient Garden is larger than many typical Chinese restaurants and the tables are separated by softly lighted panels. The result is an more intimate, upscale feel. Have a larger party? The back room offers tables larger tables without sacrificing mood.

2. Speed, speed, speed. Dining late with cranky children? Dining early in hopes to get to a show? We ordered food and when we returned from the restroom, the food was already arriving.
3. The food. The fact that the food made it to us so fast had us questioning if the taste was going to live up to the Gwinnett Best's ratings. We were not disappointed. The teriyaki chicken was moist, flavorful, and included a generous portion of chicken and vegetables. The sweet and sour chicken had a perfect crunch to the outside followed by a juicy bite of chicken. The sweet and sour sauce was sweet and thick without being too tart or sticky.

After many years of living in Suwanee, Robin Brantley, a fellow diner, commented that she had "tried every Chinese restaurant in the city limits and out, and Orient Garden is the best."
On this one, I can honestly say I agree.
