Vertical Horizon Gives Suwanee Fans a Sneak Preview

The band comes out for a sound check in the evening before their concert.

Early arrivals to the Vertical Horizon concert Saturday (Aug. 11, 2012) in Suwanee got a sneak preview.

Shortly before 5 p.m., the band members themselves came out in force for a sound check before their gig at Town Center Park.

"OK up there buddy?" a stage worker asked Matt Scannell, the founder and lead singer.

"Perfect," Scannell answered.

The band's concert, part of a national tour, was to begin at 8 p.m. at Town Center Park.

Brothers Belvedere, a local band, was the opening artist.
