Woodall To Speak at Suwanee School

U.S. Congressman Rob Woodall, whose district includes Suwanee, will speak on Washington-related matters, including the national debt, at Peachtree Ridge High in Suwanee, on Friday, Oct. 21. Woodall will be speaking in to teacher Linda Brimmer’s Financial Literacy class from 8-9:30 a.m. For more information, contact Peachtree Ridge High at (678) 957-3100.

--The Peachtree Ridge Foundation announces “Flicks for the Foundation," a family movie night for Peachtree Ridge cluster schools. Movies will be shown on Sept. 30 on the high school practice field. Festivities start at 5 p.m. and the movie begins at dusk. Donations of $5 per person will be accepted (children 4-under are free). -- North Gwinnett High principal Ed Shaddix is among those chosen to participate in the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce's 27th Leadership Gwinnett program. The session will run from August to May 2012. There are 40 participants from throughout Gwinnett County business, civic and cultural institutions.
