• Spirit Sisters delivers small comforts to older adults (decaturish.com) — Two Tucker women are quietly brightening the lives of local seniors by organizing Spirit Sisters, a volunteer effort that delivers care packages to older adults in and around Tucker. With help from neighbors and local businesses, they've grown from 25 to 125 bags, filled with toiletries, snacks, books, and cozy items. Residents can donate goods or funds and even arrange local drop-offs with the organizers.
   

• LEGENDARY AWARDS Show & Concert to Honor Atlanta Music Legends in Tucker (broadwayworld.com) — A major Atlanta music awards show and concert is coming to Tucker on Sunday, Sept. 6, at Londzell Performing Arts Theatre on Lavista Road. The evening will feature a red carpet, live performances, and tributes to Atlanta hip-hop pioneers and rising artists, all celebrating the city's musical legacy. Local residents can buy tickets online and enjoy a full night of entertainment close to home.
