Last night was the BOE candidate forum for districts 1-4 at Tull Auditorium in the Emory University School of Law.
The event was well run and very informative. I commend everyone involved for putting on such a quality event. There will be another forum for districts 5-7 next Tuesday at the Porter Sanford III Art Center.

This BOE election will have huge ramifications for DeKalb County. The next BOE will hire a new superintendent and work through transforming the school district into a charter district. This election will choose the people who will do those things.
I want to encourage everyone to learn about the candidates and vote on May 20.
