Tucker Company Cuts Sandy Victims a Check

Atlanta Light Bulbs, Inc. of Tucker is donating $2,500 to benefit disaster relief for victims of Superstorm Sandy.

The donation will go to support the American Red Cross' efforts in providing food, water, shelter, relief supplies, healthcare, and other assistance over the past month.

Atlanta Light Bulbs, located at 2109 Mountain Industrial Boulevard in Tucker, also announced that Doug Root has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer effective Dec. 1, 2012. Root was formerly the company's Director of Sales & Marketing, and was instrumental in transitioning ALB from a light bulb replacement business to a lighting solutions company.
