Bomb Squad Searches Tucker Business Office
A package discovered at an office building turned out to be harmless.
A business in Tucker was evacuated Tuesday and DeKalb's bomb squad was called in after employees noticed a suspicious package on the premises.
"Yesterday around 4:45 p.m. the bomb unit was dispatched to 1414 Montreal Road in reference to a suspicious package," police spokeswoman Mekka Parish told Patch. "The item was later determined not a threat."
The office where the package was found is occupied by the DeKalb Association of Realtors.
