βWeβre excited to be able to offer this activity for children in the community,β said Tucker Recreation Leader Jen Young. βWith schools going back face-to-face, we thought this would be a great opportunity to host a safe, in-person event that complies with CDC protocols.β
Participants will be required to have their temperatures taken upon arrival at the event and wear masks for the duration of the hunt. This is the third year that Tuckerβs Parks and Recreation Department has organized an βeggβ event. In 2019, they hosted a traditional egg hunt for hundreds of children at Kelley Cofer Park. Last year, because of the pandemic, the event was modified to a drive-thru egg giveaway.
