DeKalb Awards Scholarships to Tucker High Graduates
The DeKalb County Education Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to county students based on financial need and merit.

The DeKalb Chamber of Commerce, the DeKalb County School District, and CEO Burrell Ellis presented $120,000 in college scholarships to 26 DeKalb County public high school seniors at the first DeKalb County Education Scholarship Fund Awards Ceremony on May 14 at Fernbank Museum.
Two Tucker High School graduates, Feven Laine and Ramon Wyndell Johnson, were among the honorees. Both received $5,000 in scholarships and have been accepted to post-secondary institutions.
The DeKalb County Education Scholarship Fund's goal is to award scholarships to county students based on their financial need and merit.

A selection committee formed by the DeKalb Chamber reviewed more than 135 applications.
