The House Intragovernmental Coordination Committee will hold a hearing on House Bill 1197 in Room 515 of the Coverdell Legislative Office Building (CLOB) today, Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at 11:00 AM.
House Bill 1197 is local legislation introduced by Rep. Karla Drenner that would prohibit the construction of cell phone towers on public school property in DeKalb County.
Residents of DeKalb County are strongly encouraged to attend this meeting so that they can help advocate for the passage of the local legislation. Those planning to attend are reminded to bring a photo ID so that they can quickly and efficiently gain entry into the Coverdell Legislative Office Building.
