2nd Annual Fight Against Childhood Obesity 5k Run/Walk

This year’s 5K Run/Walk will take place on September 8, 2012, and will include a Health Fair at Tucker Middle School, the location of the finish line.

This annual event has a dual purpose. First, our goal is to get several hundreds of area youth to participate in the 5K Run/Walk, and encourage regular physical activity.

Secondly, the event is a fundraiser that will ensure our seminars, health fairs and service events can be delivered to participants at no cost.

All registered runners will receive a free ticket to the GSU Panthers vs. the Richmond Spiders football game at the Georgia Dome on September 22, 2012.
