Happy Retirement, Ms. Marcil

After 40 years of educating hundreds of children, Jeanne Marie Marcil is finally getting to rest!  She has served the needs of Livsey School faithfully for 30 years and has been a steady example of effective teaching and leadership throughout her career.

She has two children, Marc and Stacy Chambless, who grew up in Tucker, went to Livsey School and Tucker High, and graduated from GA Tech and UGA respectively.

Once she retires, Ms. Marcil plans to travel and visit family and friends.  It is no surprise that she has expressed a desire to volunteer to help Livsey teachers and students, as well as refugee children in the area.
