Fashion for Action: Charity Tea Party, Fashion Show and Silent Auction
Help Raise Funds at Charity Fashion Show

On Sunday, October 11, The Purple Boots Foundation in collaboration with Savoy Creations, Mark SQuared Studios, AWHEEC, and Princess Styles will present its Annual Tea Party and Fashion Show “Jewels of the World” at Mark SQuared Studios in Clarkston, Georgia. The proceeds from this event will benefit The Purple Boots Foundation – an organization dedicated to celebrating the resiliency of survivors of intimate partner violence.
Our team of designers and stylists have paired bold and colorful new fabrics sourced from West Africa with modern and classic tailoring and daring accessories to create a catwalk that is venturesome yet accessible and wearable. The show features designs by Doris Mukangu of the international fashion house Johari Africa. Headwraps and accessories will be provided by Danflow Fashion and Diva by Te’Meka brings out the princess in every woman with fun tutu and tulle skirts.
The evening, themed “Fashion for Action Jewels of the World,” kicks off at 4:00pm with a purple carpet, followed by tea, hors d’oeuvres, desserts, a silent auction and live music. “We have so much we want to do this year,” says Princess Hawthorne, the Foundation’s co-founder, “In addition to serving the ladies during the Motivation & Makeover Conference we want to establish an on-going support program that keeps the ladies engaged in the healing process.” The Tea Party & Fashion Show is the Foundation’s primary source of funding. The community is encouraged to attend the show or donate to a mission that provides long-term support to survivors of violence against women and girls.
