Kingfisher Academy Offering Theatre Classes

Kingfisher Academy in Tucker is hosting a Musical Theatre class of Disney's "Aladdin" on Wednesdays from 2 to 3 p.m. It's not necessary to be a Kingfisher student to participate in the class.  

Musical Theatre students, ages 6-12, will learn warm-ups, play theatre games, receive training in acting technique, vocal skills, choreography, and theatre etiquette and terminology while rehearsing selections from the musical.

Another available class is Creative Dramatics, in which students, ages 3-5, can explore fun theater games, music, puppetry, crafts, and other creative activities. Students will perform a short play based on the book "Make Way for Ducklings" at the end of the semester. 

An Improvisation class for ages 8-12 will also be offered. Students will learn the rules of improvisational performance and will practice them using fun games and activities. Register right here.
