Kitchen Fire Damages Los Hermanos
The award-winning restaurant is being cleaned up so that it can re-open as soon as possible, owners said.

A fire at Tucker's famed Los Hermanos restaurant caused some minor damage early Friday morning, mostly from water and smoke.
Co-owner Raul Vasquez told Patch the fire started around 6:30 a.m. in the food prep area of the kitchen. "Sprinklers automatically doused the flames before firefighters arrived," Vasquez said. "We don't know how it started."
"We may open later today," he added. "It depends on what the Fire Marshall says. There is still a smell from the smoke." When Patch arrived around 8:40 a.m. fire crews had just left and the floor was covered in water and some debris. Ceiling tiles were missing and employees were mopping up.

Vasquez asked Patch not to take any photos of the damage. "We don't want to scare people away," he said.
