Make a Difference: Participate in FODAC's Run, Walk 'n' Roll Event to Support Home Medical Equipment Program

Atlanta, GA - FODAC, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing home medical equipment to individuals in need, is excited to announce its upcoming fundraiser event, the Run, Walk 'n' Roll. The event, set to take place on Saturday, April 27th, 2024, from 9:30 am to 12 pm at Stone Mountain Park’s Railroad Pavilion, aims to raise funds for the organization's Home Medical Equipment Program.

Participants of the Run, Walk 'n' Roll event will have the opportunity to partake in a 1-mile run, walk, or roll within the scenic surroundings of Stone Mountain Park, while also contributing to a great cause. The registration fee for each participant is $35, with children 12 and under able to join for free. Registered participants will receive a commemorative event t-shirt, a picnic lunch, and free entry into the park, as well as access to games and other family-friendly activities throughout the day.

"We are thrilled to host the Run, Walk 'n' Roll event at Stone Mountain Park and invite the community to join us in supporting our Home Medical Equipment Program," says Sarah Mulligan, FODAC's Event Coordinator. "By participating in this event, attendees will not only enjoy a fun-filled day at the park but also help FODAC continue providing life-changing services to our clients."

In addition to the event perks, the first 100 registered participants who arrive at the event on the day of will receive Free Adventure Passes for Stone Mountain Park, subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis. To secure a spot and be eligible for the Adventure Pass giveaway, interested individuals are encouraged to preregister and arrive early on the event day.
