βMy granddaughter whoβs two keeps going around saying, βBoomer. Whereβs Boomer?ββ Kelly Marriott, the mother of Boomerβs owner, told Patch in a phone interview.
βHeβs been with us since he was a puppy,β Marriott said. βHeβs not a valuable dog. I can see if he was worth something, but heβs not. Not to anyone but us.β

Boomer is a black and white Boston Terrier (pictured above). He is blind, deaf and has cataracts, making his eyes blue.
Boomer was taken along with his crate and blanket, Marriott said.
βMy daughter and my two-year-old granddaughter are heartbroken. The dog is a beloved family member, and we would love to have him back,β Marriott said.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact Officer Senter with the DeKalb County Police Department at 770-724-7740.
The family is offering a reward for Boomerβs safe return. If you have seen him, please call Kelly Marriott at 404-468-1187.
