Phil Payne of Tucker died Saturday, Nov. 2 at DeKalb Medical Center from complications of colon surgery.
Payne was 63 and lived in Idlewood Acres West. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tucker and served on the Citizens Advocacy Board of Atlanta-DeKalb, and had been a rehabilitation counselor for the state.
The funeral service will be on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 11 a.m. at the Crowell Brothers Funeral Home on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Norcross. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Citizens Advocacy Board.
