Officials to Hold 'State of MARTA' Event

As the long-term plans to transform the regionβs largest transit system move forward, agency officials are hosting a βState of MARTAβ breakfast, Friday,Β to inform and update stakeholders about their progress, an announcement said.Β
The event will be held at 7:30 a.m.,Β in the atrium of MARTA headquarters, 2424 Piedmont Road, N.E., Atlanta.

MARTA Board Chairman Frederick L. Daniels Jr.,Β andΒ Board Member Barbara Babbit-KaufmanΒ will welcome guests and introduceΒ Keith T. Parker, who this week marks his anniversary as MARTAβs GM/CEO.
