Police Investigating Apparent Homicide
The deceased was found by a roommate inside their home.
The Gwinnett County Police Department issued a statement Monday afternoon regarding an apparent homicide at 6604 Sevenoaks Drive in Tucker on Friday, Aug. 16.
A roommate had arrived home at about 8:10 p.m. and discovered the victim deceased inside, apparently from a gunshot wound, police said.
The victim has been identified as Roberto Ortega Figueroa, a Hispanic male, aged 36. No motive or suspects were immediately apparent. Detectives are actively working the case.
