Spirit Night to Benefit Morrison Family

Tonight we would like to invite our community to help one of our own. 

Recently, one of our Northlake/Tucker families suffered a horrible set-back. You may know Daniel Morrison and his wife Jennifer (parents of a 4th and 1st grader at Hawthorne Elementary School) from their school volunteering, as well as their fixture on the local food scene.

In January, Daniel suffered extensive injuries when he was struck by a car on his way home from work. In addition to nerve damage, Daniel has broken vertebrae in his back and two broken legs. His doctors have advised that the road to recovery will be a long one and Daniel will be out of work for the foreseeable future. We are hosting a Spirit Night tonight (which was originally just for Hawthorne) to benefit the Morrison family. 

The Chick-fil-A Spirit Night is tonight from 6-8pm at the Northlake Festival location, 3967 Lavista Road. Proceeds from tonight's Spirit Night will be donated to the Morrison Family Benefit Fund.

The Morrisons are very thankful for the outpouring of support from the community. 

There will also be a family-friendly event at Mac McGee in Decatur this Saturday Feb. 9 to help with mounting medical and living expenses. There will be live music, raffles and other ways to contribute to the Morrisons.
