Tucker CID Announces Board Members, Agenda
The organization was created by a coalition of business and property owners.

After receiving approval from the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners in May, the Tucker Community Improvement District (TCID) will formally introduce its Board of Directors and its preliminary agenda on Wednesday, July 17, at 10:30 a.m. at the Bank of North Georgia, 5100 LaVista Road in Tucker.
Bill Rosenfeld was elected Chairman and John Martin was elected Vice Chairman. Other board members elected were Will Arroyo, Harold Smith, Lou Brown, Michele Weston and Barry Schrenk. Specific duties and office will be announced as well as the 2013 millage rate.
In its first business meeting, Ann Rosenthal was selected to serve as President, Annie Gibson Ervin with Kaiser will serve as Treasurer and Luanne Smith with the Bank of North Georgia will serve as Secretary. Ervin and Smith are serving in a volunteer capacity.Β

By combining efforts, Tucker is poised to become a thriving activity center that provides positive economic development and supports the βlife-longβ community that is in the Tucker long range plan. The general boundaries of the Tucker CID are the commercial properties along LaVista Road, Lawrenceville Highway and Hugh Howell Road between I-285 and Mountain Industrial Boulevard, adjacent to the already existing Stone Mountain CID.
