Another neighborhood coffee shop closes?

Have you ever seen a barista compete for awards while also raising money for charity?

San Francisco Coffee Roasting is closing Tuesday, April 16....

But only for one evening….and YOU CAN STILL COME!

San Francisco Coffee’s Best Barista of the Year Contest and Silent Auction is a competition recognizing and celebrating the art of coffee making while raising funds that will benefit Atlanta’s Children’s Therapy Space at The Conley Center. The event will be held at San Francisco Coffee & Roasting Company, 1192 N. Highland on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 7:00 PM. General admission ($35) and VIP tickets ($125) are available through Eventbrite and include one specially brewed coffee and dessert. Patrons can look forward to an evening filled with rich aromas and fierce competition as eight of Atlanta’s finest coffee-makers battle for the title of “San Francisco Coffee’s Best Barista of the Year.” Throughout the evening guests will savor coffee and dessert and bid for a chance to taste the winner’s best brew. They will also enjoy a silent auction full of fun and unique items and join in the excitement of surprise drawings. All proceeds benefit Atlanta’s Children Therapy Space of The Conley Center.
