Royal Affair Theme Brings New Events to VSU Homecoming (vsuspectator.com) — Valdosta State University is gearing up for a 'Royal Affair' Homecoming, with themed events like a Lip Sync 'Battle of the Thrones,' an NPHC Showcase, and a masquerade-style Casino Night. Crime victims meet with Georgia Parole Board Member Josh Waters in Valdosta (valdostadailytimes.com) — Crime victims from the Valdosta area recently met one‑on‑one with Georgia Parole Board member Josh Waters during Victim Impact Sessions held in the city. The meetings let victims explain how crimes affected their lives before parole decisions are made. Local residents who are crime victims can register with the Georgia Office of Victim Services to receive parole status updates.
