Police Identify Man Killed in 4-Vehicle Crash
The Canton resident was killed when a vehicle crossed the center line and crashed into his car, the Cherokee Sheriff's Office said.
WOODSTOCK, GA -- The Cherokee Sheriff's Office has released the identity of the Canton resident who was killed late Friday evening in a four-vehicle accident in the Hickory Flat community.
Corey Forman, 21, was the sole fatality in the crash reported around 7:30 p.m. March 10 along S.R. 140/Hickory Flat Highway just west of Jep Wheeler Road.
A preliminary investigation reveals that a passenger vehicle driven by Wendy Millican, 44, was traveling westbound on Highway 140 when it crossed the center line and collided with the vehicle driven by Forman, which was going eastbound, sheriff's office spokesperson Lt. Jay Baker told Patch.

That initial collision caused Forman's vehicle to cross the center line where it was hit by a third vehicle that was also traveling westbound.
The first vehicle in the crash also struck a fourth vehicle, which was also traveling eastbound. That caused the fourth vehicle to leave the roadway and slide down a steep embankment, Baker said.

A driver and two passengers in the fourth car were not injured, and the driver of the third vehicle -- which had no passengers -- was not injured.
Baker said Millican, also a Canton resident, was transported to WellStar North Fulton Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. There were no passengers inside that vehicle, he added.
Forman was the sole occupier of his vehicle when the fatal crash occurred, Baker said.
Currently, no charges have been filed the case, and the Cherokee Sheriff's Office Traffic Enforcement Unit continues to investigate the accident.
