$1 Million Powerball Ticket Sold In Woodstock

The Georgia Lottery Corp. also said two $50,000 tickets were sold in Georgia from the Feb. 15 Powerball drawing.

WOODSTOCK, GA -- Saturday’s Powerball jackpot has grown to an estimated $349 million, and Georgia Lottery players continue to rack up wins as the jackpot swells.

Large prizes, including one $1 million ticket and two $50,000 tickets, were sold in the Peach State for Wednesday’s $310 million jackpot drawing.

Winning numbers from the Feb. 15 Powerball drawing were: 5-28-33-38-42 and the Powerball was 19.

AM PM Woodstock Convenience Store, located at 12152 Highway 92, sold the $1 million ticket, which matched the first five winning numbers from the Feb. 15 drawing.

Publix Super Market on Abercorn Street in Savannah and Kroger at 3000 Old Alabama Road in Johns Creek sold the two $50,000 tickets.

Each ticket matched the first four winning numbers from the Feb. 15, drawing plus the Powerball. In addition, 35,085 players won a total of $171,680 in prizes.

Georgia has been a hots pot for Powerball players. Last week, a $1 million ticket was sold in Wildwood and two $50,000 tickets were sold in Dalton and Columbus. In Georgia, Powerball winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes.

As with all other Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from Powerball will benefit education in the state of Georgia.
