2 Charged With Burglarizing Woodstock Home
An 18-year-old and a juvenile were arrested Wednesday afternoon by deputies with the Cherokee Sheriff's Office.

WOODSTOCK, GA — An 18-year-old male and a juvenile were arrested Wednesday afternoon after deputies with the Cherokee Sheriff's Office discovered they were allegedly behind the burglary of a home in Woodstock.
Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a burglary in progress call around 1:30 p.m. Aug. 9 at a home on Braddock Circle, which is located off Eagle Drive behind Walmart Supercenter. Deputies arrived within two minutes of 911 dispatchers receiving the call, but the suspects fled the scene on foot, the agency said.
However, a deputy spotted the pair later on Bells Ferry Road, and they were taken into custody. Sheriff's office investigators determined the suspects had already entered the home earlier in the day and were attempting to go back into the house when a neighbor called the police, CSO said. A backpack, believed to be taken from the home, was recovered and contained a small amount of marijuana, drug related objects, clothing and two knives, the sheriff's office added.
