2 Charged With Trafficking Heroin in Woodstock
The arrests stemmed from a citizen informing police about possible drug activity at an extended stay motel.

WOODSTOCK, GA -- An alert citizen's tip about possible drug activity led police to two residents who have been charged with trafficking heroin in Woodstock.
Agents with the Cherokee Multi-Agency Narcotics squad on Thursday arrested Madison Riley Rosser, 23, and Taylor Drew Eggerton, 22, both of Woodstock, following a search of an extended stay motel in the city.
Those agents received information about a citizen expressing concerns about possible drug activity occurring at Stay Lodge of Woodstock on Woodpark Boulevard.

CMANS agents learned the room was being rented by Eggerton, who had active arrest warrants issued in Cherokee County. Agents, along with Woodstock police officers, went to the motel room and took Eggerton and Rosser into custody.
A search of the motel room yielded twice the amount of heroin to fall under trafficking charges, which is four grams, CMANS Commander Phil Price told Patch. Agents also recovered a handgun.
