2 Escape Waleska House Fire; Injuries Unknown

The cause of the house fire at Indian Oak Drive is unknown.

WALESKA, GA — Two adults were able to escape a house fire around 5 a.m. Wednesday near the Lake Arrowhead community at Indian Oak Drive, according to the Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services.

After the department extinguished the fire, crews worked to check for hot spots and salvage the home's contents, fire officials said.

It is unknown if there were any injuries.
